Mariah Carey (26 points) and Nick Cannon's (24 points) sexy honeymoon spread in OK Magazine pulled them into third and fourth place, respectively, thanks to the extra points awarded for skin shots. Good thing they spent most of the honeymoon mostly naked. But are they already on the rocks? And if so, will that hurt, or help their scoring potential. Drama generally means big points in this game.
Kate Hudson (20 points) had the strongest all-around showing. Where most of the big scorers this week came up huge in one magazine and drew near-blanks in the other, Kate was the only star to come close to double digits in both Us Weekly and OK this week. With both mags paying attention, Kate's prospects for the longer term seem strong, especially if she keeps bouncing from one celebrity boyfriend to another (Lance Armstrong (5 points), Chris Robinson (3 points), Owen Wilson (0 points), who's next???). On the other hand, she also said this week that she plans to stop sharing details of her personal life with the press. Of course that doesn't mean the press will stop sharing details of her personal life with us.
Others to watch:
- Gossip Girl star Blake Lively (14 points) nabbed 6 points in OK and 8 in Us. She says she doesn't want to live in the celebrity spotlight, but if she keeps dating her celebrity co-star Penn Badgley (5 points), she may not have a choice.
- Audrina Patridge (17 points) grabbed a big score this week thanks to 14 points from Us Weekly, but she seemed to pop up again and again throughout both magazines. The 22-year-old up-and-coming star of The Hills has already said she's not uncomfortable with the public release of topless photos from just after her high school graduation. Keep an eye on her.
- 15-year-old Miley Cyrus (10 points) racked up double-digit points even in a week of little controversy. She should be drafted onto a squad in every league.
